We live in Vista, which is located in the north of San Diego County, California and are available for travel all over the place. Richard has been photographing for over 10 years, and Angela is his lovely assistant.

Biography

I live in Vista, (North County San Diego) California with my beautiful wife Angela as you've just read in the paragraphs above this one. We were married in June 2006. I'm a Kiwi expat , while my wife hails from Alabama. So our accents cause much fun!

I'm a wedding and portrait photographer, photojournalist, and fine-art landscape photographer. Mountaineering was where my passion for photography developed while I was at university in New Zealand . As any mountaineer knows, the slides are important: they prove you did what you said you did, they provide material for slideshows at the Alpine Club , and other gatherings. I loved documenting my mountaineering expeditions, and over time I came to realise it was the people and the stories I remembered best and most vividly. So that led me to wedding storytelling through photojournalism with custom fine-art album design for truly treasured memories.
