Grand Prismatic Spring

So there's the boardwalk down there - how do you get a shot from here? Well you go off trail according to the rangers who wrote this day hike guide book I was reading. Up a hill in this case. Grand Prismatic is quite a sight to behold: it's 370 feet across and staggeringly beaufitul. It's the thermophiles lending the pretty colors to the surrounds, plus the water is, well, quite hot.
