Sunrise over the Kearsarge Pinnacles highlighting a perfectly still, partially frozen, Kearsarge Lake in Kings Canyon National Park, May 2007. A wonderful still morning, the first rays of the Sun lighting the pinnacles as it gradually rose while I patiently waited in the cold shadows by the lake for the perfect photographic opportunity.
