Snowfall on the Merced River, Yosemite, California in Yosemite National Park. Running through Yosemite Valley, the Merced river displays astonishing beauty, power, and tranquility all within a short stretch.
During a wonderful winter snowfall in 2006, I was fortunate enough to be out photographing the natural beauty as the snow was peacefully falling on the river, leaving beautiful drifts of fresh powder on the banks.
